The product
Pluxee Account is the self-service app for people who receive meal and leisure benefits on a Pluxee Gastro or Flexi card. It shows balances and transactions, warns about credits that are about to expire, lets users block a card, reset a PIN or order a new one, finds the nearest partner venue with navigation, and adds the card to a phone wallet for contactless payment. Login is protected by PIN or biometrics.
The situation
Pluxee was one of four long-term custom development projects I ran in parallel at Adastra, each with a team of 10 or more people and budgets in the tens of millions CZK. The client was in the middle of a brand transition from Sodexo Benefits to Pluxee, which touched every screen and every message in the app.
What I did
- Owned scope, schedule, budget, risks and vendor management for the delivery, and was the day-to-day partner for the client’s sponsors and senior management.
- Kept a predictable release cadence across iOS and Android while the product, the brand and the backend evolved at the same time.
- Coordinated the cross-functional team of developers, testers, designers and the client’s product owners.
Outcome
A stable, regularly updated app used by hundreds of thousands of cardholders, rated well above four stars in both stores.
